Access to the library
Library reading room is open Monday to Friday, 10AM-6PM.
On first visit, readers will be asked to register and sign in the library’s code of conduct.
Access to the library’s collections Readers have free access to the bookstacks: they can go directly to the shelves to get their own books or browse on the on-line catalogue OPAC SBN. This is a reference library: books and other materials are for use within the library only. In the library reading room it is also possible to access the photograph archive database through intranet system (more information than those retrievable extranet).
Access to the photograph archive Photograph archive is open by prior appointment. Readers can send a request to a: fondazionezeri.utenze@unibo.it, specifying:

Most preferred days of appointment
Reader will be notified via e-mail about the appointment as soon as possible. Requests concerning the consultation of materials not yet catalogued will not be accepted but for exceptions depending on the direction’s choices.
Other services Photocopy. It is possible to photocopy books within the library for a maximum of 30 units, costing 0,10 € per page (see price table). Copying is subject to copyright legislation. Library staff must first give permission for this.
Photography. It is possible to photograph books, using reader’s own camera. Flash or other artificial lights are not allowed. Library staff must first give permission for this.

Readers are encouraged to suggest book material, not in other Bolognese libraries, for addition to our collections, and they will be notified if and when material suggested is available for consultation.
